Andrea Navedo (born Andrea Navedo) is an published American author, actress, and writer. Her career began in the soaps One Life to Live, Guiding Light. The show was relaunched as the CBS soap Guiding Light in 1999 as Theresa Sandoval. In 1996 she had only a small role on the show in Girl 6 and then went onto appear in New York Undercover. Navedo played with Double Take in 2001 and Washington Heights the next year. Navedo was the character the role of Detective Ana Cordova in the NBC show Law & Order from 2001 through 2004. Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages came out in the same vein, along with Blue Bloods. Navedo was also in several movies, such as El Cantante and Remember Me.
